Los Suenos Beach Resort offers wide variety of acquatic activities, including river and ocean swimming, surfing, SCUBA Diving, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking, and river and deep water fishing -- all within 5 minutes of the resort.

Los Suenos Beach Resort  is ideal for walking on the beach, on the river walkway or around the laguna.  We are excited to offer bike riding and horseback riding at the project too.  We have an area two kilometers to the north, which is allocated for motorcycling, atv or mountain bike riding.  The surfing direct out front is excellent and near shore boogie boarding is ideal. Our surf break is very good.  Come stay at the current lodge and test out the surfing anytime.   Playa Los Suenos & Playa Tamarindo are both 100% sand and Punta Estacada has the rock outcropping for fishing and surfing!

The estuary (estero in spanish) & the river tamarindo at the back of the island offer excellent snapper fishing, boating, kayaking and more. The mangroves are a haven for wildlife and nature.  A fishing charter service, www.SuenosCharters.com, offers tours up the river where you will see crocodiles, five foot iguanas and can enjoy a nice fish lunch at a river side restaurant.  Kayaking or boating tours through the estuary systems are also available.

Leon is only 35 minutes away too!  This vibrant city offers all the amenities and activities you would expect in a city of 400,000 residents. Leon has live theatre, art galleries, museums, colonial churches (eighteen to be exact), parks, street vendors, and colonial buildings!
