Staff housing: The crew has been working to finish the staff housing up on River look-out point. The staff housing is an important component of the resort’s viability. Presently it houses the 25 plus staff we have working daily on the site and will be expanding to house more workers as they are hired on. Having staff facilities for the workers and their families ensures that the quality men (and women) we have working for us will stay with us for the long-term.

“ Tortuga Lodge”: We have started renovation on the colonial lodge on the point.  We are working on two buildings of the lodge and the rancho (hammock area).  It will be ready in 6-8 weeks.   We are modernizing the building while maintaining the beautiful colonial style. We are adding three rooms, new kitchen, new dining area, all new roofs, new windows, new doors.  Once this elegant building is renovated it will provide overnight accommodation as well as our onsite office and operations center.   The surf lodge will initially work out of the building and expand to it’s own building down the coast towards the “surf break”.  Owners who visit Los Suenos to enjoy the many activities or to inspect the construction of their home, will have the opportunity to stay overnight and experience the beauty of warm Nicaraguan nights by the ocean.
