At Los Suenos Island Resort residents can enjoy the comforts of home with the availability of fresh water. Presently, we have three active wells inside of the development.   Additionally, the hydrology study and layout is completed for the off island water upgrade.  The existing water source is sufficient for several years.  We are planning the required upgrade based on our masterplan.  We have purchased the off island water sites (3 wells) and are currently working to receive the approval from the government office overseeing the management of water in Nicaragua.  We anticipate to have the additional well and water pipes install within a year.   

It is the responsibility of all residents to ensure the proper back up supply of water by installing a cistern at their residence. The rain water will be preserved to augment the "grey water" or irrigation systems.  The well water system and water treatment plan will ensure the availability of potable water.
