The main island road bid specifications are complete and open to bidding. This crew is drilling to find rock under the surface to make an assessment of fill and compaction required to build a well designed road with poured in place curbs, interlocking stone road, sidewalks, and lamp posts using solar energy. All the developers on the island are working together to build shared infrastructure that will integrate the systems and provide a well functioning sewage, fresh water, electrical and road system. 

Nica Projects is on target to start road construction in 2008. The other island developers agree on a 2008 start.
