The upgrade of electrical service to North American standards is going well. This 3 km section of concrete poles attach to the 3 phase municipal line on the Salinas Town Main road.
We are adding spreaders to the top and changing the wire to 3 phase. The final 7 kms to the start of Los Suenos requires new concrete poles. Los Suenos electrical services will likely be underground. Underground means no unsightly poles, transformers or wires in the development. Only 3 ground based transformers will be required. This may be better than your local community, as it is top notch. There is a second electrical supply option which is to come across the river from Puerto Sandino. Puerto Sandino is the largest town in Nicaragua on the Pacific Ocean and has a significant power generation plant. |
