The engineers plan for a sewage treatment plant is under way. A strong submittal is a foreign supplied plant that features virtually no discharge of dirty water. It reuses the treated brown water to irrigate the plants and grass.

This sewage system is used widely in Central and South America and is the preferred system of the Nicaraguan environmental authority.

Engineering details are being worked around this system. Los Suenos will have a well designed, complete waste water treatment facility.
