At closing, you should budget 3.25% for costs. Lawyers fees are generally 1.5%+ of the purchase price, transfer taxes to the municipality are 1%, inscription fees for the deed are .5% and filing fees are .25%. There is no charge for title search because we have already done so for the entire development.
